When he was on radio regularly here in the Atlanta area, Paul Walker once shared this story as he preached at Mt. Paran.A lawyer's water pipes froze and busted during a winter cold spell. He called a plumber and in about an hour, the plumber had it all fixed. He handed the lawyer the bill for $600.The lawyer almost went into shock. You only worked an hour and you are charging me $600? I'm an attorney and I don't make $600 an hour! the lawyer hollered. The plumber replied, When I was a lawyer I didn't make $600 an hour either.Paul Walker's radio program was one of the best. He had one of the largest listening audiences in Atlanta.Doyl |
