Post subject:  FG Minister: Trump is Neither Christian or Conservative Yet...

Evangelical Christians are voting for him. For 30 years I have tried to teach my church members that principles should carry more weight in decision-making than personalities. I strongly believe in values-driven leadership. For example, if the largest contributor to your congregation is flirting with another woman, no matter the financial cost, he must be dealt with. Principle over personality, or principle over pragmatism. Donald Trump has been on both sides of core positions, not simply the peripheral ones. In his campaign there are only three things we know that he stands for - a wall along Mexico that Mexico will pay for, a tax plan, and that he will be neutral in negotiating a peace treaty with Israel and her enemies. That's it. We know nothing else except that whatever else he gives us will be great! Most Trump supporters actually say I don't care what he says, I like the man and his take no prisoners attitude.

I long ago stopped basing my decision on who to support on how much they coddled Israel. Trump is not anti-Israel. He is trying to move us towards less of a interventionist foreign policy, something this broke empire should have done long ago. There is nothing in the bible that says other nations must support Israel. Nor should we undermine her. Israel does not need our help. They are looking out for their own interests and have undermined us on more than one occasion. Israel is the best nation in the middle east and the fact that she exists is a miracle in and of itself. But we have got to stop butting in to her business. And to purists such as yourself i must say, you would never have been able to support any of the Founders. You are holding Trump to a HIGHER standard than you have any other candidate since we have never had a truly principle driven leader. If you think we have, you have been asleep the last few decades. So go ahead and hand the election to Hillary and bask in your principles as the nation collapses

I cannot support Trump (money, endorsement, campaigning), but I will vote for him for President if he is the Republican nominee. I may not know what we will get with a President Trump, but I know exactly what we will get with a President Clinton. I'm not a fool - I always vote.

Trump will be better than 8 more years of Obama Jr. aka Hillary. If we have that, stick a fork in us, we are done.

The good news for the Church in all of this is that prayer should skyrocket under a President Trump or President Clinton. Both are SCARY!If Trump is our President, the infighting within our country and the hatred outside of Her will all exponentially increase. Global threats will expand and escalate. We will continue towards the path of national obscurity but perhaps this is the will of God for America as we near the return of the Lord Jesus. If Billary is our President, we will continue on the path that this nation has been on. We will continue Obama's failed policies. The only difference is, our demise will be kicked into turbo drive.Either way, our nation is in trouble. Sanders is a whackjob. I'll give him this--he is a sincere whackjob.Do I believe that Rubio, Cruz, Carson or Kasich can do anything any different? Probably not, but I'm also not embarrassed by the way they conduct themselves or represent me and my family. No matter what, and call me names like hyper-this and that, God is still on His throne! I do predict this with confidence--all true Believers will spend a lot more time calling on the protection of Almighty God in the days and Day to come Proverbs 3:5-6; John 13:34-35; Acts 1:8

Uh , no. Those things happen when we portray weakness. You sound like the anti-Reagan zealots in the 1980 campaign

Uh , no. Those things happen when we portray weakness. You sound like the anti-Reagan zealots in the 1980 campaign. You have small hands...What else you got?RS, you are probably a good guy or gal but you are reflecting the personality of your champion/candidate. I truly hope you aren't even more disillusioned when he fails too Proverbs 3:5-6; John 13:34-35; Acts 1:8
