| There is some left handed logic in the letter, but I still think it is better to give an unknown a chance than the known.The Unknown is 'impeachable' the known is not. I wait to see after Romney's 'Speech of the Ages' as is billed by some news media, if Trump's stock goes up. He did ask for Trumps support when he was running. Of course (honest qualifier) that did not mean he agreed with Trump.If the 'planned' attacks by GOP leaders weren't so obvious, it may not look so bad. | I really don't see anything in the open letter that suggests Sasse's objections to Trump are about Trump being rude or coarse. Did you?The main thrust of his objections seems to be that he feels Trump would take a very dim view of upholding the constitution and recognizing the balance of power between governmental branches. |
