| I agree 100% with normalizing relations with Cuba. I think it is long over due. I lived in GITMO for nearly 4 years. worked with and spent a lot of time talking to the 'commuters'. Commuters were Cuban citizens who worked aboard GITMO. I worked closely with exiles also. Men with a death sentence on their heads.They all wanted to renew political communicators and normalize relations. This will be a star in his presidency in years to come, it could just as easily been one of the Republican presidents.Of course I know there is a lot to iron out. BUT we kiss up to China, Russia, and even Saudi Arabia. Why not with a neighbor just a few miles off our shore? JM Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/ |
