Post subject:  Old Time Country Preacher: In a Complementarian Church Culture, is it OK to Wish Our Mothers/Grandmothers a Happy Mother's Day?

Egalitarian-minded persons have no problem saying Happy Mother's Day, but what about those with a complementarian bent? Is it possible to be complementarian while simultaneously expressing gratitude for the female gender?

Egalitarians say 'Happy Mother's Day', but complementarians say that and then add, And you look purdy, too.
