Executive Committee:J. David StephensRaymond CulpepperTimothy HillDarrell RiceG. Dennis McGuireAs other names appear, I'm persuadable for:Bill IsaacsKevin WallaceMitch CorderBryan CutshallTom MaddenWHY THESE MEN?All these are men who have experience doing the things I hope an executive administrator would be able to do in the Church of God. They represent various generations and styles of leadership and I personally trust them to lead us as the Holy Spirit directs them. This list is NOT to take away from anyone else who will be considered, but rather a list of 10 men who I think would make great members of the EC.My Council of 18 list will include:*Men under 40 who have successfully pastored/grown a church*Men over 40 who have done the same OR shown administrative giftedness*Men from different parts of the country...not just the southeast or Texas*Men from other countries who are promoted by our denomination (because we depend on the crowd to tell us who can fill the international spots)My votes will NOT be used for people who I have personally observed:*Treating other people with disrespect in any way*Using political connections to further their own ministries or agendas*Acting arrogantly in public settings or worship services*Talking down to any person or people group.Thank, Doyle, for this platform for people to express their opinions.

I do not know Fred Garmon well, but admire greatly what he has done in recent years. The work in Cambodia alone would get him mentioned in Scripture if Paul were writing letters today. My list was not offered to leave anyone out. I'm sure Garmon would be a great addition to the EC.And I really do hope to see men like Darrell Rice be honored for their administration gifts and decades of integrity. There are probably many others like him, but the way he led in Great Lakes without fanfare or demanding applause for 12 years put him at the top of my list. He never pushes himself forward or demands attention.
