| IT JUST WON'T WORK!You can't just tell people to stop sinning. It won't work.That's what the Law did and it only increased and empowered sin. Rom. 5:20; 1 Cor. 15:56People first need Truth to empower them to change, to make them free.They need to know they are not condemned so they can go and sin no more. John 8:11They need to know they are hidden in Christ to empower them to put to death the deeds of their bodies. Col. 3:1-5They need to know they are dead, buried and raised with Christ to new life to stop the reign of sin in their bodies. Romans 6:6-12The mind set on on the flesh discovers that it is not even able to keep the rules, can't please God and results in condemnation and death.The mind set on the Spirit, our new life of no condemnation in Christ, brings life! |

| My dear Bradford, you hold a degree in jurisprudence. Such a degree highlights the principles of presentation and debate. You come on Acts and try to influence doctrinal/biblical/theological positions with the skills of jurisprudence--positions you once held, but have exchanged them for that which is more palatable to the human psyche. Save the debate for the courtroom. Jurisprudence, when set in juxtaposition with correct biblical exegesis, is at its very best faulty. Now stop sinning! My dear Old Timer, you apparently don't know anything about a degree in jurisprudence. There's no debate. Simple reading of a one-line title doesn't take a law degree.
