Yes, I looked that up last night in a couple of versions to see. The KJV had brethren and the NIV had brothers and sisters. I looked at the Strong's definition of the word used there, adelphos and figured it would depend on context whether women were included. However, since it concerns speaking in tongues, singing, interpreting, and prophesying, we should be able to deduce that it includes women. (Though that deduction might just be a bridge too far for some of our bishops.)In any case, the reference in chapter 11 to women prophesying is very specific in gender, so clear that even... okay, that's enough snark for one post, lol.
