Perhaps the wrong metrics are being used as qualifications. Instead of advanced degrees as a achievement in themselves, the real measures should be conversions, baptisms (water), Holy Spirit Baptisms, members added to church, giving based on per member averages in tithes and missions. Other factors could be church building built and paid for, new staff position and new ministries added. How about if your children are believers and are attending a COG, as well as being married to the wife of your youth? Those are some great metrics if you ask me.
