The New International Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements states that after 1963 the notes contained in the Dake’s Bible became the “bread and butter of many prominent preachers and the staple of Pentecostal congregations.”Any a yall boys git caught up into thinkin they aint nothin like a Dake Bible?

If I could have only one book, no computer program or any other study helps I would choose my Dakes Bible. Not because of Dakes personal notes, but because if the references and definition's he offers.I rarely take it off the shelf these days because my PC Bible program gives me all the references and other helps I need.Dakes former pastor preached for me once. I happen to know T.L. Lowery used a Dakes Bible. If it was good enough for Peter, Paul and T.L. it is good enough for me. Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

But the print is far too small for me to use. Some folks have trouble separating his notes from the Word.

I'd also bet that there are a bunch of folk who like Mr. DAke's Bible. Never had one myownself. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
