Since we do not have satellite or cable, we have not seen any debates at home. I think once we were at a restaurant and one was on.My impression was that Trump would not come across well in a debate with Hillary if the questions were presented about specific or actual Government Agencies and policies. IF THE DEBATERS HAD TO STICK WITH THE SUBJECT. She would be much more 'versed' on the subjects. What I could see was he bull dozed thru with name calling. Of course my information comes only from reading the net and it is slanted I know.Is he really a debater? I really think he will duck out, but I hope not.I know feelings run high on this subject, but I would actually like to know how the feeling is here on this Forum. Just a straight forward feeling, without the cheap shots, they are easy with both Hillary and Trump (both are big targets and easy to hit).So after all that, who is the best debater of the two Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Without Question, the media would anoint Hillary the winner, regardless of who won. Actually, I suspect she would be a much better debater, given she is a trained attorney and has run for public office, whereas Trump doesn't need to debate in his career, unless one considers negotiation as a type of debate. However, Trump's real tendacy is to revert to name calling and not to issues of substance. Now, if the debate were in the spectacle of totally avoiding a set topic or set questions and to let the candidates have the equivalent of bar room brawl, I'd go with Trump

TV debates and real debates are two different things.Trump is good on TV - he does not let the questioner drive the debate - like Romney let a questioner say he was wrong about a fact - Trump would not let him do it.And he is great at throwing the opponent off. There is something on youtube where a guy pointed out the 5 techniques that made Trump win every debate - and that Trump used those techniques very effectively.Hillary stinks at debates. And facts of the last 8 years are ones she doesn't want to talk about.Facts about sexism are ones she doesn't want to bring up.Making her look flustered and old will carry the day for Trump.Don't doubt me

Trump may not pull any punches. I think he can develop the politicians' skill of not answering the actual question and saying what he wants to say without making it seem like he didn't answer the question. I think Trump can go in there without pulling any punches, and pointing out problems with Ben Ghazi, emails, donations to the Clinton foundation, etc. He just needs to really memorize some facts about these things to knock down rebuttals. He needs to improve in that area.I think the masses apprecaite that he isn't cowtowing to PC culture (by PC I mean 'politically correct', not the Clint Eastwood interpretation of those words.) But he takes it too far in saying things deemed a bit racist or prejudiced against religion. Some things you should keep to yourself and use them to inform your policy, like imigration and religion. He does need to learn to be more of a politician in this regard, IMO.... to have more of a filter between his brain and his mouth. If he goes out there and hammers on Hillary's weaknesses, touches on sore spots about the economy, and if he can come across as just maybe a slight bit 'nice', fair, and trustworthy, he should beat her. Hillary Clinton is a dream candidate to run against, IMO, but in some ways, so is Donald Trump

But she will dangle some bait in front of him and he'll strike like a big old chilean sea bass.how did that change? big-ole-carpe , i had to misspell it That auto correct will get you when you least expect it. I thought you were becoming a real fisherman! But again you just might be right. They are dreaming up several 'delicious' looking baits, that his EGO just cannot resist. But this time I do hope he can stay on message. He needs one of those shockers in his pockets, like the invisible fences for animals, so his handlers can shock him the minute the bait appears. Maybe a simple 160K volts. LOL Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
