| Jesus was in the boat in a storm...asleep.Adversity, disappointment, fear or frustration...these are storms of life. These aren't the voice of the Spirit. They aren't the seed or word He sows or the fruit He produces. You don't sow hurt and reap peace. Neither does He. That's just not how seed works.He is the Comforter, not the dis-comforter. Don't give the storm a voice to move you...to disturb your rest. Jesus could have slept thru the whole thing, but people around Him tried to disturb His peace. Their words were not faith, they were fear.Don't let the storm speak to you. You speak to the storm.Storms come. When your life is built on Him...when your life is how He wants...the storm doesn't move you.You speak to the storm. You move it. You bring it to rest.I'm not saying don't move or move. That's not for me to say. But don't let it be the storm that moves you. Don't give the storm a voice to your heart. Rest in the middle of it. You speak to the storm.Always remember who makes you restless and who gives you rest. And don't let a storm make you think you're in the wrong boat or with the wrong group or in the wrong sea.When you do that you give the storm a voice I'm not saved because I'm good.
