Many of the stories in the Babylon Bee are not real. They are what if stores used to make a point or to poke fun at various actions or beliefs of some church people. There is a publication which basically does the same thing for politics. It is called The Onion.A story appeared in the Bee recently about a church that supposidly had baptisms by having the baptismal candidates go down a water slide into the baptismal pool. According to the Bee, the church hired several auctioneers to stand beside the slide and as people zoomed by, the autioneers would rapidly proclaim, I baptise you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.Oh yes! Blasphemy in my opinion, but the point seemed to be to make an attempt to illustrate how churches are scrambling to do all kinds of things to keep church people entertained AND the obsurdity of some of them. However, there are times when just telling the truth of what some churches have done or are doing, is jaw-dropping.That's my opinion, what's yours?Doyl
