There is a fine line between not running from persecution/being a light in a dark place and pitching your tent towards Sodom as Lot did. Lot made a huge mistake. His righteous soul was vexed daily and his children turned from his godly influence to the culture of Sodom and perished. There comes a time for separation, and the church is swiftly approaching that point in time.I'm not referring to living like the Amish. I am talking about local communities that govern themselves, where the town elders elected by the people get to decide whether or not bars or strip clubs can operate in their city, where education is local with a curriculum chosen by a coalition of parents and ministers. A place where are kids are not attacked daily with lust, profanity, violence and drugs. You know, they way it used to be and still would be without an overbearing Federal Government pushing a left-wing secularist agenda. I see too many godly parents losing their kids left and right to this world. Perhaps we are expecting too much in the conditions our kids are raised in. Perhaps we are pitching our tent towards Sodom, like Lot. Perhaps it is time to leave and form our own communities

Some of your thoughts are interesting. It is a lot like I used to feel in business, when the load got too heavy I just wanted to go back in the mts so far no one knew where I was. But after there a few days, I was ready to face the world and phones again.I think folk get to feeling that way, especially preachers. When they start thinking, WHAT GOOD IS IS?
