Have you guys ever had it? I had it in Indonesia about 10 or so years ago. It was expensive, usually imported. I have had a chance to get some this year in Indonesia. It's abundant and cheap, around 55 cents a pound. I have often thought about the niches farmers in the mountains have fThe fruit doesn't have all that much taste. But there is something satisfying about it, like drinking a cold glass of water when you are really thirsty. The first time I tried it, I didn't like it. I tried it in Thailand, and it was the variety that was white on the inside. I don't know if I acquired a taste for it, or if the variety that is red tastes better. I thought the fruit was Asian. It turns out it is from Mexico, and grows on a cactus. I've read it's high in anti-oxidants. The red variety is almost purple on the inside. Those purple antioxidants are supposed to be really good for you
