This isn't about trying to make your monthly report any more difficult than it is.You don't have to be a pastor or minister to respond. 1. Have you led somebody to the Lord outside of a church service or worship event in the last 90 days? 2. Have you witnessed somebody receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost & heard them speak in tongues since June 1 of this year? 3. Have you baptized anybody in the last 30 days? 4. When is the last time you witnessed someone experience sanctification? 5. Have you ever cast a demon out of a struggling soul? 6. Have you cast out demons from somebody this year? 7. When was the last time you cast out demons? 8. Do you attend church growth seminars/conferences yearly? 9. Does your church offer Sunday School or something like it even if it's on another day? 10. Do you regularly teach on the gifts of the Spirit & how to practice them? Several have joined our church.3. Several healings4. More robust discussions on the Gifts.5. Two members came close to speaking in tongues but didnt understand what was happening.6. Most all Members are starting to participate in true worship |

Since you lead worship at a Baptist church I have a question.Do Baptist believe in demon possession? If so do they cast out demons? Only been to a very few Baptist services other than times where I pastored that had fifth Sunday night services together.I have preached in a few Baptist churches but never experienced a demon. I did fill in at a Freewill Bpt for a couple months.I have had a few council members (very few I might ad) that let the devil lead them. I should say that most were Spirit filled men. A couple of those in question spoke in tongues. Seems that I read about a donkey speaking once.Had a clerk once who was a CoG minister that left me a check for for General Assembly. The check was about 800.00 less than the state suggested amount. He said he thought that would be enough. I understand the Bible says you will reap what you sow. Poor guy!How did I go from talking about Baptist to CoG Council members. I must be getting old. When I get old will you all still tolerate me. I can hear Eddie Robbins now. I have been tolerating you for about 15 years. Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com |

The Southern Baptist Association allows autonomy , self governing. So some of the churches do believe in demonic possession and deliverance. In our church I would say that a very large percentage of the members believe indemonic possession. There are still a few that dont accept this. |

Nobody wants to answer this or even part of it???C6th kinda touched on it but nobody, not one person (especially a minister) actually has responded to this.Still open for responses until it drops off the front section & gets relegated to the 2nd set of topics. 1. Have you led somebody to the Lord outside of a church service or worship event in the last 90 days? Yes. In England on a missions trip and a waitress here.2. Have you witnessed somebody receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost & heard them speak in tongues since June 1 of this year? Yes, have had several this year including some of our freshmen students.3. Have you baptized anybody in the last 30 days?No4. When is the last time you witnessed someone experience sanctification? Don't preach or believe in sanctificationas as a second work of grace. You are sanctified at salvation so actually I guess I did witness it as people I led to salvation were sanctified at salvation.5. Have you ever cast a demon out of a struggling soul?Yes, many many times.6. Have you cast out demons from somebody this year?Yes this past Feb in Ecuador.7. When was the last time you cast out demons? See above8. Do you attend church growth seminars/conferences yearly? I taught a church leadership seminar in England and Ecuador this year but not the type you mean.9. Does your church offer Sunday School or something like it even if it's on another day? We have adult Sunday school at 9 am led by anointe teachers and I teach on Wednesday evenings as well.10. Do you regularly teach on the gifts of the Spirit & how to practice them? Yes often including teaching a college course on the subject to freshmen. |

1. Have you led somebody to the Lord outside of a church service or worship event in the last 90 days? Yes, the brother of an active member while visiting him in the hospital. I have know him for years and he refused to pray on other visits.2. Have you witnessed somebody receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost & heard them speak in tongues since June 1 of this year? Yes, a young man responded when asked if he waned to be baptized in the Holy Spirit (altar call at a revival meeting) but it may have been a refilling experience for him.3. Have you baptized anybody in the last 30 days? No.4. When is the last time you witnessed someone experience sanctification? I mention sanctification on a regular basis during altar calls and in one on one ministry. I really don't get into the differences when asking people about sanctification. Rather I often use the example of the physical when visiting one's doctor. A doctor may if you are eating better today and working out more than any other time in your life due to you receiving more knowledge about health. What is your answer concerning your commitment to Christ, knowing Him through prayer, the Word and sharing your faith with others in regards to other times in your life?5. Have you ever cast a demon out of a struggling soul? Yes. I am not sure if this is applicable but before every service we pray and bind every demonic spirit that would try to hinder the move of the Holy Spirit.6. Have you cast out demons from somebody this year? Yes.7. When was the last time you cast out demons? Several weeks ago but speaking of demonic oppression here not possession.8. Do you attend church growth seminars/conferences yearly? I used to and realize I don't know it all but after 110 graduate hours I haven't for several years. I am not saying this is for everybody else (I do my best to avoid ACTS-wars) but God directed me to spend that time doing the basics of praying/leading prayer meetings, studying the Bible on my own, leading by example in personal evangelism (hospital visits to friends/family of members) and leading small Bible studies with individuals who are hungry for the Word of God.9. Does your church offer Sunday School or something like it even if it's on another day? Yes10. Do you regularly teach on the gifts of the Spirit & how to practice them? |

I wanted to respond as well.1. Yes I have & I enjoy most street evangelism.2. We've had a couple people receive the baptism with initial outward verbal evidence.3. Yes, we baptize as often as we can - I have a pastor friend who rarely doesn't baptize, he even does it after service on Wednesdays.4. I too believe that we are sanctified at salvation.5. I have cast out demons & I love to see people when their face changes as the freedom in Christ is experienced. 6. I have prayed for people who thought they were but no actual demonstration was witnessed.7. Actual casting out has been awhile but we're ready for it when it shows up. We've had a complete change in our people to help them understand their place in Christ & their power over the enemy.8. I rarely attend church growth seminars unless they are free or a nominal fee as I cannot justify buying a system or using a program to make adjustments to our way of doing ministry. It seems God has gifted each church with a personality & people are drawn to that place of worship when they relate to the leadership or the way the Spirit leads them. The last conference I attended was an ARC conference & it was awesome - but I can't wear skinny leg jeans with holes in the knees lol9. We offer Sunday School type classes for all ages on Wed. evenings & we keep is short & sweet from 7-8pm.10. We do regularly teach on the gifts & I'm trying to focus more attention on them so we can raise up a generation of believers who love the Holy Ghost here in Calif.I don't want this generation to slide by & us watch as the people become so apathetic towards the moving of God's Spirit. What does witnessing someone experience sanctification look like? You just see them one day while they are living a holy life?Or do we have to watch them throw their earbobs in the trash can and unbob their hair? Where's sister Beulah when you need her |
