When I read this I think of construction companies skating by logic and ignoring stress and load regulations.My prayers are with the families who were only there to worship God. I cannot imagine the horror of knowing a church is collapsing over and around me.At times as a builder I became upset at building inspectors and requirements, but with reports like this I am glad for stringent requirements in the USA.
