| You're constructing a straw man (again). Nobody is saying there is not spiritual warfare. What is shameful is people making up stuff like spirit of Leviathan. Ephesians 6:12says nothing about a spirit of Leviathan or a spirit of Jezebel or a religious spirit. |

| Is not just prayer, it was physical posession, demonic manifestations, including voices of demons and exorcism's. NO straw man, I have encountered many who heard voices and were directed by them. Leviathan is merely another way of saying beelzebub I suppose. The oracle of Delphi is called python in the greek. | I've never claimed to know everything. You need to slow down and read what is actually being said. The strawman you constructed was the straw man that says the posters on this thread don't know about spiritual warfare.As far as python, goes, we have discussed that here on Acts before because our dear brother Jentezen Franklin, if I recall correctly, had a teaching about the spirit of Python. The word used to describe the possessed girl in Philippi is indeed python in the Greek, but that name is taken from Greek mythology. Are you saying that Greek mythology holds the key to the actual name of a particular spirit and that this was not just a general term meaning a spirit of divination? But you shouldn't be so worried about Python. Apollo slew him. |

| Why do they say Leviathan and not Ashtoreth or Baal. All were figures in Canaanite mythology. Leviathan, or Lowtan, was a sea monster in Canaanite mythology that Baal, the thunder god defeated.I never made the connection, but in Norse mythology, Thor's enemy was a giant sea serpent.
