Thanks for posting... I enjoyed visiting and worshiping with Truman and his sweet wife. Our prayers for Gloria and all his family and local church. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Given all the times he posted this on Acts, I can somehow imagine him approaching the proverbial gate of the celestial city, and saying “Truman here.”

I never met him either but had great respect for him, from his post on Act.

Truman Smith was the real deal. When I as a young pastor came to Chattanooga, he was one of the old guard who welcomed me and actually encouraged me in some of the outside the box ideas we were trying in Chattanooga. He never felt threatened by new thinking. He made me laugh. I liked Truman a lot.

I was blessed to know Truman when I still lived in Indiana, and to visit with him often in Fort Wayne when we lived in Bluffton. He was real Randy Johnson, PastorIckesburg Church of God85 Tuscarora Path

Sad to hear of Truman's passing. He was such a sweet man...real & sincere in his faith. I never met him IRL, just as a friend here. Prayers for Gloria, his family, and his church...Loved OTCP's comment. More of Him...less of me.twitter.com/camiracle77www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=691241499&ref=name
