I wonder if there is something deeper here than immediately meets the eye.... We all know that God did not need to actually rest--He is God, after all. But yet He either needed or wanted REFRESHMENT.Maybe some here would add their comments to this? I am not at all trying to make any point about God. It's just that this verse stood out to me because it seems to imply that God desired refreshment.But why does God need/want refreshment? Does He need it? What good does it do Him? |

funny that. I never even thought of the point you have made. My mind went back to the first house I built. I did it every bit from digging the foundation to roof everything. When it was finished I was not tired of working, but I had to step back and look at that little house. It was like most trades, jobs even sermons outlines when you are pleased with your work. I see it as just a step back and saying He was satisfied with His decision of creation Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/ |
