| Actscelerate began before there was Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat and all kinds of other communication things that have come along since then. Actscelerate was for a long time, the go-to source for discussion by COG ministers concerning issues facing the COG.There is no effort on our part to punp people using the site. However, it remains open since most viewers will not use their personal communications to share their heart on issues they feel could be controversial.Before you're too harsh on somewhere that has served you well for many years, there is a major downward trend in church attendance and even bars are complaining. Yes, thank God, the number of people going to bars, is declining too. A lot of people used to go there to meet people for dates. These days, they are using social media to make contact.To push back some on a poster who made a negative comment about the boatrd and one of our esteemed viewers, to those who come here regularly, the site still serves a purpose to share their heart on issues. So, there are a lot of places these days when there are not as many people using them as once was the case. Here at Actscelerate, we keep the site open for those who want to use it, but not ever do we feel that serving our viewers is useless as one harsh, mean-spirited poster stated. Amazingly, the one who made that tasteless statement, has used the forum for years at not even one cent cost to him. I only know that because when I sent him a Private Message (PM), another pen name he has, one I recognized, came up. [email protected] |

| I think most folk here appreciate a place to speak their mind on issues facing the Church. I have learned a lot being here and I appreciate the opportunity to keep up with some of the opinions that are throughout our denomination the COG.It is also good to hear opinions from COGOP, AG, PH, CH and the other denominations represented here. I hate it when someone takes offense by another poster's comments and departs. Usually the departed has been just as hard or harder on other opinions contrary to his. | I'm thankful for a forum to connect. I've made new friends here. I'm also thankful for place to post thoughts and ideas and get feedback...even if it is somtimes unproductive and critical. Even the knuckleheads cause me to deepen my understanding of the positions I hold, state them more clearly or change those that need it. Thanks I'm not saved because I'm good.
