In a word, it was presidential. I felt almost like I do when I hear a Reagan speech. This was beyond my expectations. Even Van Jones, who famously coined the term white-lash in his response to Trump's win said that tonight, Trump became President and may have sealed 8 years (if he continues this). I think the 2 minute ovation for the widow of Ryan Owens was a great moment, but I think the following excerpt is the part that will be remembered by history

In my opinion, Trump has to DO a lot better than he has, to leave me speechless. One time of coming across as 'Presidential, can not erase all the garbage he has said and tweeted. He has to BE Presidential. He has to stop tweeting. He has to allow even a combative press alone, to say what they want to say. To me, the way he deals with the press is a big mistake. The press ( even a bias press ) is a part of the checks and balances that can force Trump to be presidential and not a dictator. A free press can work as a filter, so as to keep Trump honest and true.

Yes, he does. But as our President, he has an obligation to keep the words that he say's. I am not looking for someone as my President who just makes a good speech. I admit, it sounds all good. But I am looking for someone who IS Presidential. And not just on a particular evening. To me, he has a lot of ground to make up before he leaves me speechless. As far as Twitter goes, he comes across as some 14 year old little girl. In all my years on this earth, I have never seen a more immature President. How he can fool so many people is beyond me. And mind you, I am a Republican, yet he makes me second guess being Republican. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.It's a new season - you RINOs need to get out.He has done more conservative stuff in one month than Bush I and II combined.Perhaps the press needs to be treated the way they treat every Republican - remember - Democrats always super intelligent(talk about fake news) - Republicans stupid, racist, etc... He's just playing their game - and playing it better than them right now.Make America Great Again!

When your at the bottom of the garbage pale most anything you do will make you look better. I to was impressed. No Name calling. No finger pointing the blame , No de-legitimization of Judges or the press. No conspiracy theories.No lying { none that I can tell yet }
