I can't find that in my Bible. I can see where a donkey was enabled to speak. I can't find where the donkey prophesied

But the KJV say the ass spoke numbers 22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay

I think Link is familiar with that passage. If you will note, he is not asking whether or not the donkey spoke. (He says in the OP that he can see where the donkey spoke!) If I understand him correctly, he is asking whether or not the words which the donkey spoke were words from God or prophetic words in nature. In other words, is it accurate to say the Lord spoke

I am not sure if your reference to Balaam prompted my post, but you get my point. I've heard many people say, If God can talk through a donkey, he can talk through you.We can look at what the donkey said. Balaam did not beat God three times. The donkey calls himself a donkey. The donkey was speaking. God opened the mouth of the donkey. That's not the same thing as God speaking through a donkey.
