| Unfortunately (for those who might seek a loophole), there is still the law in our hearts that Romans speaks of. It is the law for those without the law.It may not be SIN in the most literal sense, but God punished Cain even though there was no law then. |

However, I'm reading cursed from the ground not as cursed BY the ground but essentially as cursed with respect to your interaction with the ground.
