Post subject:  Aaron Scott: I have a theory...

I have come to believe that many of the main media outlets WANT there to be strife, wars, etc. Why? It's sells! Just yesterday, the New York Times reported that the ships that were supposedly sailed toward North Korea...weren't. I'm thinking, Are you guys so intent on messing up Trump that you would undercut our bargaining position, etc.Further, You do realize that now that Trump has been called a bluffer by the NYT, he'll be much more prone to drop some bombs, right?

Aaron,I do believe the media cares what is best for THEM - and don't really care what is best for the U.S., or anyone for that matter

You could actually change one word and it would still remain true.

I agree here and and believe their ignorance in stirring the pot SHOULD come back to haunt them. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

I don't know if they want a war. They may be rather short-sighted and short-term focused. If it sells tomorrow's paper and increases profits, that's a motivation to print it. They could be a bit reckless about that, but that doesn't mean they are trying to orchestrate a war. Some journalists seem to have a foolish, naive, almost religious idea about reporting the 'truth' through in their articles and don't consider whether some information is better left unshared, and that they have an obligation to the public not to share it

Post subject:  JLarry: Split the US

For years I have said the next civil war would be political. I say split the US. North or South, East to West. Each could have their own government. Everyone could choose which government to live under. I would not want to live in the North but I would if the conservatives move North Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

Post subject:  Ernie Long: After reading these posts

What can or should we do about it?As the Church, Christians, Americans?I truly see this as the beginning of real persecution of the Church. If Berkeley can shut down conservative speakers and freedom of speech, then what is the future for the Church in America?Churches are doing all they can to get people in their doors now, so what will happen when protesters show up to a church on a Sunday morning to intimidate Christians from attending services? Will we as Pastors stand or cave?

I don't think that's the worst of it; I think a lot of journalists write what supports their ideological narrative, truth or not.
