| Bi-sexual pastor resigns then changes her Theology. Now everything is ok. Really. So if I, a heterosexual desires a woman, I can say lust is Biblically ok and that makes it ok? I am really confused. www.charismanews.com/us/64642-pastor-comes-out-as-bisexual-resigns-over-church-s-stance-on-homosexuality Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com |

| Post subject: | Mat: Since the norms ... |
| Since the norms of the church have so drastically fallen into sexual immorality, are we willing to walk away from the established church (as Luther did 500 years ago)? Or are we too vested in the lifestyle of ministry we have come to enjoy and prosper in? I would suggest that both our metrics and our role models for ministry have missed the mark!I feel that the mega-church model and seeker-friendly approach to Christianity have added to the decline. |

| I teach that part of it is known as the reverse Job syndrome.Job was filthy rich & the enemy took it away & yet he was faithful & still would not blame God. Could it be that a lot of these modern Pastors who have very little, soon experience extreme monetary changes & they get their eyes off of God? Nothing will get you more distracted than sudden wealth. The minister sees one financial windfall after another & gets so caught up in his own personal success that he forgets who brought him the blessings. The enemy doesn't have to strip you of your wealth any more, the eyes of the flesh are drawn away & enticed ...that is when the warning bell should sound & we not give in to the variables of lust, whatever shape they come in.When we get off balance & begin to thrive in our new financial identity it becomes easier to venture out there with new & different theological theories that we teach in error. A lot of these big creature comfort modern churches offer a lot of stuff for the mind & being to enjoy & be pre-occupied but they lack the power thereof. Empty nest syndrome is for the birds!Email me at: [email protected] planters are focused on just one thing ...introducing people to Jesus! |
