Something doesn't smell right about that story. We're only getting one side of it. I did NOT vote for Trump as a protest (assuming you are talking about the primaries). I said all along he would be my last choice (IF I even voted). I did vote for him in the general election because I didn't like the alternative. (He is turning out to be somewhere between my worst fears and my highest hopes (not that great). But I'll take whatever we get compared to what we would have got (a SCOTUS pick that would have sealed our fate as another failing euro-socialist country. As for pimping out, that is true of most politicians. i.e. the black church has been pimped out to the lying democratic party for decades with the promise of a few hand outs but NEVER any real results.edit -After reading the second link from inside the article, I see the following which, like it or not, is the law of the land. He was not supposed to be here, marrying a US Citizen AFTER being deported does not grant residency. I don't see a Biblical problem with enforcement of the law, its not a law against God's law is it?I do pray that an exception is made based on his present situation, but that is up to the lawful government.

It would be real sad if an immigrant that came here legally would be deported. If they came here illegally - should we give a pass for breaking the law? Is that what Christianity is now? what ever happened to restitution where possible?Great sadness always happens when folks break the law. Hopefully the AG has a presence in his home country to help him - that would be the Christian thing to do.If the US was closed to folks it would be one thing - but there were all kinds of ways to get here legally for years.I hope in a few years he works his way back legally. If Elian Gonzalez was sent back due to the rule of law - how is this case any more deserving

Did you vote for Trump in the primary? Is that what you mean by protest?I assume it is since voting for him vs Hillary is not a protest vote. If so, then look in the mirror for who's fault he's there. Maybe the church's problem is not Trump as much as it is a lack of discernment when there actually was a choice (it became a non-choice once it went to the general)

You are jumping to allot of conclusions and making allot of assumptions. If the guy is illegal, why should I be hopping mad that he is being deported? He ignored a court order, for crying out loud! There are people who run from the law, live clean lives decades, but still eventually get captured. Why should I be outraged over this pastor and not someone who escaped from jail 30 years ago where they were serving a sentence for a non-violent crime? As for Jeff Sessions, as much as I like him, he should have counseled with Trump before tying his own hands with these blasted recusals. He is now obliged to sit by helplessly while the Dems make a mockery of justice. He needs to go
