We are near Lake Panasofkee this week. we have been looking forward to some COG folk. This morning we found them and had a wonderful worship service. I have stated many times here, I am out of step with our present day COG. I did not know Brother Canada until this morning. What a pleasure.I do not hear well, but it seems the dude can sing. I have known only a few ministers and singers who are used to preaching/singing to crowds of hundreds and thousands who would gladly go to a church of 50 and less. Of course the little church was almost full this am, but still nothing like our brother is accustomed to I understand.I have traveled with a former overseer and administrator and loved to see ministers eyes light up when he just dropped in. At times he called in advance, but no matter, some of the churches we attended had never seen nor met an overseer. It definitely is a wonderful time and feeling, just like this morning.Of course with Carl as pastor the church gets good preaching and solid advice, this was just an extra blessing.I did enjoy it much more than ‘THE ROCK’! ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
