……………….We didn’t get punched for not being ready for church………. we got screamed at, yelled at, grounded, hit with a fly swat, a belt, switch, frying pan, kitchen sink, water heater, tv set (I’m talking a floor model not these pieces of paper we have today.)
I noticed in my own family, when the kids were small, there were times that Sunday morning was not a pretty sight, and I am very sorry for it. Christians get wrapped up in the ‘logistics’ of the day, and not the REASON for the day.
