Kevin Wallace is gone. The poor misguided soul has left home, left the family, left the church. He’s a prodigal now…marked, tainted. Maybe he’ll come to his senses and repent, apologize and come back. Oh, he’s not gone from the the body of Christ. Not from the church, town, ministry, family or call of God on His life.I hope not, but he is most likely gone from being allowed to speak at COG general assemblies, campmeetings, Winterfests, youth camps, prayer conferences and other events. After all, he is an outsider now. And why shouldn’t he be gone? Surely the COG can find our people to speak at these events.Although Doyle would welcome him, many on here would like for him to be gone from Acts too.Yep. He’s gone________________I’m not saved because I’m good. I’m saved because He’s good!My website: www.bradfreeman.comMy blog: bradcfreeman.tumblr.com/
Brad – why can’t you give it a rest? Why another thread________________
‘Cause he’s gone. Soon he’ll be forgotten. Apparently, you’ve already moved on? You’re ready to forget him? Maybe you’re right. Maybe he should just be swept under the rug and, well…gone________________I’m not saved because I’m good. NBF, you remind me of a line from The Ten Commandments
My only lament is:The guys you want to stay – leave. The guys you want to leave – post every hour.Life isn’t fair________________
How do we know NB an Brad aint one in the same? Alter egos fighting it out on a public forum. Or how do yall know OTCP aint the one what posts as both Brad an NB?
Brad, you must be reading Acts different than I. As I read the comments I see at least 90% saying God Bless Kevin Wallace. Why the negative comment? about the 10% Seriously?Me thinks it is knee jerk reaction my friend. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

That’s not a bad thing. It’s just natural that if we aren’t hearing his name, hearing him preach, seeing him on the big stages we frequent, we will turn our attentions elsewhere. He made a choice that took him out of the line of sight for most of us. He is loved and cared for, but just as when a friend moves away…you may try to stay in touch for a while, but eventually, yeah, you start losing touch. That’s just the way things are. We didn’t choose to leave him. We didn’t choose for him to leave us. And, in the greater sense of The Church, he, of course, did not leave us. But, yes, he did leave the Church of God…and that means that many of us will no longer see him at Camp Meetings, hear of him at Redemption Point(e?), know that he is on some high council, etc.
I hate the fact that Kevin thought he needed to leave. He is still a brother and a coworker in the LORD________________Recorded Sermons @ http://www.pastorwiley.com
Very well put my friend, very well put. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
I wish you were right. We shall see.The testimony of others who have left would confirm that my statements are not a knee jerk.Maybe exclusive feels good. Maybe exclusive is a way to create value in joining. Maybe exclusive is a way to keep people or entice people with the promise of open doors if they join. He will be excluded and he will get the blame for his exclusion from the 90% and the 10%. The 90% will say nice things, which is good, and exclude him…the organization will see to it.It’s unfortunate that those within the organization fail to see how exclusive and homosectual it is. This is simply another opportunity for it not to be exclusive. One that will be missed, as it has over and over, because the voices that decry the exclusiveness are excluded, ignored, dismissed or condemned________________I’m not saved because I’m good. Ban Brad. He called everyone in the COG homosexuals________________
Why do ye worry and fret over Brad. Dost thou not know that one who comes out will always affirm others who do likewise? They then form their own–though much smaller and less formal–network of participants. Space shuttles that have left the mother ship that brought them to where they are.Looking back over the past 100 years, scores and scores a fellers has done the same thing. This is nothin new, nor will it be the last time.
Right on.To some guys the COG is always wrong – and gets bashed regularly – but they are allowed to stay on here and post.It just doesn’t add up________________
Yeah. People who challenge or question the COG should be banned… excluded. People who advocate for change in attitudes and actions should be banned. That way the COG can be pure and free other influences and voices in the body of Christ and further isolate its people from the poison of diversity in the Body…that which every joint supplies. The COG is not a person. It can’t have a relationship with people, be right or wrong and can’t bashed unless someone criticizes the font on its Articles of Incorporation. LOL But the image of the COG as a person who has always taken care of me or taught me so much or been good to me and my family creates this fiction that divides. It’s a fiction that causes the people in the COG to feel betrayed or abandoned or excluded by KW. It’s people. People are the church, the body. KW didn’t leave either________________I’m not saved because I’m good. I’m saved because He’s good!My website: http://www.bradfreeman.comMy blog: bradcfreeman.tumblr.com/
