It is noted in the article that Saeed Abedini pleaded guilty to domestic violence in 2007.As common as domestic violence is, it is quite likely happening to people within our churches. How do you react when someone says he or she is abused?www.idahostatesman.com/news/local/community/boise/article57202263.html
The only right thing to do is immediately proceed as if
I never knew that, nor would I have guessed it from your liberal, Baptist, Democrat, always exercising, against obesity, self!
Over the years I have noticed when there is a problem ‘reported’ of a man and wife WE DO NOT KNOW, I take the side of the wife and my wife sides with the husband. I have often wondered why that is.Women are HARD on women for some reason, or that is how I have perceived it. I have never worked for a woman, so I have no idea how I would feel. My wife has worked for several women and men and the only ‘problems’ have been with the female boss. This is a very touchy and serious problem, knowing when and ‘if’ to report abuse. It is serious enough to ruin a man or woman’s entire LIFE, and endanger their jobs and personal welfare. The abuse situations I have known personally (2) have been child abuse types. One the step child with diagnosed mental problems accused a nephew of abuse. He was a pastor in NYC. He was publicly arrested, cuffed and taken from his church office. All charges were dropped after investigation, but the ‘doubt seed’ had been planted.I have never been taken into confidence by a man or woman who claimed abuse, I really do not know what I would do except advise caution UNLESS THE PERSON FEARED FOR THEIR LIFE, then I ‘might’ take personal action regarding a report.________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
I can see it now, Eddie. There will be no mention of one Eddie Robbins. The article will go something like this,In contrast, Mrs. Mary Robbins, daughter of Church of God historian, Charles Conn, and sister of Lee University president, Dr. Paul Conn, states that Nagmeh shouldn’t a been throwin all them fryin pans at Saeed an the ole boy wouldnta had to restrain her.
If there are no physical scars – then not jumping to conclusions is the right thing to do.Today – there are women that get hormonal imbalances – and if not treated – can say all types of things about their husbands – and anyone close to them…with only a small grain of truth. There are also many men that physically and verbally abuse their wives. It is hard to determine verbal abuse without actually being there.Dave’s advice is right on here. Believe them both – help them sort it out.Try not to judge or shun them.It might be you one day________________

Either you made up the name Mary or you did some deep research.
