Please remember my older son, Ben, who is riding out the storm in Gainesville. Should be weaker by the time it gets there, but a Cat 3 is still plenty powerful. He’s in an apartment building, 2nd floor, so he should be OK. Also please remember my niece Michelle & her family in the Tampa Area. Also riding out the storm in a home. I think we will all be ok…if we stay off the roads, watch out for falling trees, and watch out for down power lines.Most homes are made to withstand a lot in Florida.Tampa Bay and the west coast should be worse – most likely the storm surge will destroy the most stuff. Gainesville, Orlando should only get tropical storm winds – the cat 3 stuff will be on the coast only.Praying God will watch over all of us in the midst of the storm________________
