Against Trump (L)

Acts20.com NEW Acts-Celerate

I will warn you now that I will not be returning to this thread to debate or discuss. I offer this editorial as a shot across the bow, a wish in the darkness, and a last and desperate plea.If you consider yourself a conservative and the body of evidence collected in this editorial does not convince you that a Trump presidency would be a menace to the issues you hold dear, I am confident that nothing will, which is why I won’t return to answer your objections or respond to your complaints. If you still wish to support Trump after thoughtfully reading every word of this piece, may fortune follow you on your path. I will make no further efforts to convince you otherwise.www.nationalreview.com/article/430137/donald-trump-conservative-movement-menace

  1. Gary Jones..i love kid participation..singing on stage..plays and such..each church has kids night for something like that..or they should

  2. Let’s all just face the fact that church has become a business, a religious business and changes have to be made to attract people who will buy the commodity we are selling. I heard one lady in a church say one time “this is a business and if it doesn’t make money we can’t do it”. It sickens me that this is what the church has been reduced to. The COG is not the only denomination this is happening to.

  3. We give our time, treasure and talents to the Lord from all of our heart. Every act of ministry has skills. You can tell me that T.D. Jakes, T.L. Lowery did not learn skills in preaching. Yes there is anointing and God uses our talents through His anointing if we depend on Him. These young people are expressing thier Love for God through the talents of theatrical arts. Those same arts that were a part of the church prior to TV during the middle ages and the shakpearan times. These young people did were not touching one another is a sexual way like the prostitutes of the pagan Gods, they were showing their love for Christ through the talents that God gave them. No, I sure don’t have any of those talents, but I can jump up and down, raise my hands, clap my hands for the Lord and I do it unashamedly before Him.

  4. now Kyle’s wife is attempting to join and I dropped her from the group. Why does this have to happen??? I dropped the person who tried to accept her membership. I ain’t happy about this.

I am forced to stoop to their level.

  5. John C. Jernigan was also my Dad’s pastor in Eldorado, Illinois. I’m happy to hear he also served your home church as pastor.
