However down through the decades there has been no way to give reasoned feedback. Sometimes habits and expressions build up in our culture and we are no longer aware of how they appear to others; after all we are supposed to be trying to reach others. Now social media gives us a way to give feedback that might be useful. One of my classes at Lee as well as at other colleges was to listen to ourselves and endure the comments from the Prof. and other class members with the idea of trying to learn the best way to get our points across. So I will always try to speak with grace and with the hope of improvement, never outright criticism.
