There is this guy who makes youtube videos made from his audio clips. He claims to have been a Pentecostal preacher for 25 years and to have preached in COGs. He made an ‘expose’ of Tomlinson. In standard COG thought or circular reasoning, if one spoke in tongues then they had to be sanctified, and in order to be sanctified, they must have been saved. It was not unusual for children to have these types of experiences in revival meetings or at church camp. I remember praying for healing at age five although I did not speak in tongues until age 13.
If he got saved why wouldnt he be sanctified? Did they baptize him in water? If
I did the same at the Kentucky Church of God campmeeting in 1972 at age 10. God still does it.
