I was thinking about signing up for it and wondered if perhaps someone on Acts had gone through and would like to share their experience. Looks like a very intense training program. How effective was it for you? What specific ways did it offer immediate help?Cost/benefits…was it worth it?
I think if one attends the business meetings, they will get a print out of those statistics. Or I hope they still do. If we know a pastor is paid according to the membership, why don’t we know what those in state and general offices are paid. A portion of our tithes go to those offices. Personally, I don’t like the pastor being paid according to membership. That creates a drive for new members and perhaps in some cases, no real concern about whether they have truly been saved and belong in the family of God.
Don’t know what the Church of God teaches about this but I firmly believe He is always molding and shaping us into greater vessels for His service. I also believe He still uses us even while we are on the wheel.
How are we useful on the potter’s wheel?
We are changed from glory to glory.
Do you think the COG teaches this?
I am saved, sanctified and Holy Ghost filled and have been a finished vessel for the masters use for over 50 years, going from faith to faith; glory to glory.
Sanctified, completely and entirely!
