I was shocked today when the livestream of the assembly was cut off when a brother was making an argument against women being on the council. The biased that producer showed by taking that off the air was unbelievable. So now we have someone making decisions on what part of the discussion of the floor can be seen and what cannot.

If you are going to air any of it you must air all of it. You can’t cut off the Parts you don’t like. We are what we are and with attendance lower than it has been for years and years there’s a greater number of people that rely on their connection to the church via online platforms.

Yes the online was awful and technology was terrible with the voting devices. Very big embarrassment for our church. I understand that, and I agree. But I’m very troubled about the young women watching this who are becoming very disheartened about being in the COG, who love this church! We must be wise.
