Historically preaching in the COG has been mostly about theatrics and style rather than about accurate theology. As long as you could preach loud enough people would shout regardless of the theological content. Hopefully things will improve over time.
One of the good things about Bro. Livingston is that he still has a good voice after many years of preaching and he is handsome even in his sixties also the volume of amens and claps from the audience adds authenticity to his words. So in that sense he is a strong spokesman for the denomination.
Will not God be sitting by and watching all that happens during Rev and the tribulation /great tribulation?
Did He not just watch what happened to Job after He had set the boundaries for satan?
Did He not say to King David concerning Solomon

I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
We must remember that man has the free choice of his actions. While God KNOWS what every man is doing does not mean that God controls him to do bad things. God nor Satan makes a man do anything. Both God and Satan gives influence and man does as he pleases. CJH
Joshua commanded the sun to stop. It was the first time that God ever obeyed a man’s command. The result? God stopped the entire universe for one man, Joshua. The scripture says, “Command ye Me.” All of this goes directly against Loran’s message.

And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee. Joshua therefore came unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night. And the Lord discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Beth–horon, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah. And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth–horon, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
God ordained the victory and battle before.
Joshua did not need the sun to win the victory, for it started and was well under way in the darkness.
God listens to (agrees with man’s words) when man’s word first lines up with His.

I’m listening to his sermon on Sovereignty and I can’t believe any executive council members listened to it!
Just a simple question if I may;

God answered his prayer. Not so much as commanding God but nature. We do have spiritual authority.
