It’s shameful that the CoG has adopted a political position on illegal immigration that awards amnesty to those here illegally.
The church is asking law enforcement be conducted in ways that recognize the importance of due process of law, yet has adopted a position that is anything but that.

The first overseer wasn’t baptized with the Spirit but sought the baptism in the altar along with every other seeker till he did receive and spoke in tongues thereafter!
In order to become a minister in the CoG that I knew, the applicant must state that he has been baptized in the Holy Ghost and speaks in tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:27-30
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.

When given as a gift of the Holy Spirit, one will continue speaking in tongues.
Speaking in Tongues is one of the nine gifts listed for the Church. He said if I go away I Will Send You Another Comforter. When He Comes He shall abide with you forever. On the day of Pentecost The Holy Ghost Came. And they All spoke with other tongues as The Spirit gave the utterance. Almost every where you read in the Bible that you read where they Were filled with The Holy Ghost. The Bible Says They Spoke With Other Tongues. Even at the home of Cornelius. They said who can forbids water that these should be Baptized. For we have heard them speak with Tongues as well as we. It always said most every place if not every place. It says they Spoke with Tongues.that why Pentecostals says it’s the initial evidence of receiving The Holy Ghost.
