When we got saved Elmer Golden Sr. was our first pastor.Many years later Elmer Golden Jr. became on of my best friends. Elmer pastored some of the larger COG churches in S. GA. before becoming the Evangelism Director. Elmer left the COG several years ago and planted a church in Tifton Ga.Elmer went to heaven on Dec 30. We talked at least twice a week.
