I think I’ve watched that before. I watched a few seconds just now. The man said, He is given a belt. A girl screamed, Hallelujah! I thought, Yep, somebody should have given him a belt.
Is this an illustrated message gone bad, or is this guy (whoever he is) really crowning a king?I guess we all could wear crowns and robes since we are a royal priesthood.
The understanding I got watching a longer version of this is that a Jewish rabbi was the one speaking and proclaiming all the king stuff, and it seemed to be a prophecy of sorts, saying that God was raising him up as a king among men, building a kingship in ministry. That is why he wrapped him in the Torah. Definitely odd. Perhaps it is more of a cultural thing as QW suggested. This was also in the year following the accusations, so I can understand why the church might be excited to hear God was going to bless his ministry. Seems way over the top, though. I would definitely not feel comfortable participating in such a service. The rabbi came under a lot of flak for this service, too________________More of Him…less of me.twitter.com/camiracle77www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=691241499&ref=name
