Hope I won’t bore you with signs but this one on a SBC sign puzzles me. First I don’t know what the messenger intended to say but somehow it leaves a negative impression on me. This is on a state highway and in a 40 mph zone with about 50,000 cars per day. It seems to me that they are missing an opportunity to convey something positive and uplifting; something that might attract drivers by to visit them. People ought to give a lot more thought to messages that reach so many people.
I guess it is better than a sign that reads “If you want to find out what hell is like then visit our church!”
Can a Church of God be a community church? I don’t think so!
right or wrong if you have the numbers that means you are right in God’s eyes!
If two or three hundred are gathered in my name there am I in their midst!
