That does happen. But the receiving pastor Cannot and will not refuse to request membership transfers. We as members have a right to attend the church we most comfortable. We watched a mid Florida church die, disband and the church was sold, under the same circumstances. I really think the vote should be more than a ‘preference vote.’ It should mean something to the Overseer.
