Jesus was so common those around him in his home/local town did not want to receive him.
He was common, he had facial hair.
I believe the word to use here for this would be
“distraction”.
the good looking pastor is a distraction in the same way a good looking woman dressed immodestly on stage is a distraction.
The idea is not to distract the congregation from worshiping God. Most churches are about pastor worship.

A lesson from Moses (and a teaching in leadership training) people must be willing to follow you for without those willing to go with you, you are no leader.
I think you confuse leadership and preacher worship.
I think you are trying to keep leadership in yesterday (suits, ties, clean shaven), was not by the biblical standard of Jesus (I recall his beard being blucked).

You’re fine Bro. Charles. Just wanted to put a little input into the discussion. I believe we hold pretty much the same view on Holiness as it pertains to both men and women.
I remember growing up and being fussed at for not wearing my best clothes to church. Now I get fussed at for wearing my best clothes to church.
