The easy road to this issue is to simply ignore it, thus resulting in giving approval. But when does it get addressed? Or will it ever be addressed? Until someone (Isaiah 58:1) cries out against worldliness and sin in the church, and quits trying to be “politically correct,” nothing will ever be done. I support Charles Page’s post. Members of this forum both love and have a rich heritage in the CoG. They are currently CoG or were basically such during their lifetime. So such a posting certainly needs to be addressed.
I should go buy her an appropriate dress and give it to her and that would solve the problem between me and the State Overseer. Talk about legalistic that is legalistic! All she needs to do is change her attire!
No if myself or the state overseer does that then it will make her angry toward us. She needs a change of heart (don’t we all)

There was a great disconnect between the teens and the rest of what was going on in the service. When I was a youngster it would amount to someone trying to take over the worship service.
The guitarist stood on stage while the evening speaker preached unmoved by what he was saying. It was as though they were waiting for him to finish so they could get on with their act!
I had a young lady that came in a Church that I was Pastoring her dress was so short and strapless,,, well of course I didn’t like it so I took my Jacket off covered her up went on with church,,, the older ladies doing their job of teaching the younger took her out and got her some decent dresses to wear to church,, problem solved
I would like to hear your thoughts on this question that you’re asking before I share mine. Let me guess, you think that God and the dominating gender of the trinity is male, correct?
I asked what does the Church of God believe? I am trying to find that answer.
There are theological views that the trinity is an egalitarian trinity with agender qualities. It is a functional entity without a dominant member. This is the view of eternal sonship
I believe it is a complimentarian trinity with “gender” headship. This is a view of incarnational sonship.

I well remember James Poe Jackson and I could never reach his zeal. I remember Albert Batts and a bunch of really good old fashion preachers.
