It could be rumors to discredit a man of God. it could also be someone who ordered some stationary. Either way we should learn what the word says about spreading rumors and also what it says about people who speak ill of a man of God Numbers 12:1. Rumors- Proverbs 17:4 You also need 2 or 3 witnesses 1 Timothy 5:19 and also see Proverbs 18:7-8.

I have cause for bitterness and I suffer from some form of Post Pastoral Traumatic Stress Syndrome. I have come a long way on my struggle I moved from bitter to blessed. I see men as trees walking!
Who the authors were and when the books were written shouldn’t take away from the Bible’s inerrancy, or subtract clauses from the statement of faith. Or would it?
The bible seems to teach that the earth was flat and that it had four corners, that slavery was acceptable and that women are inferior to men. How do you see it?
If the Bible says the earth is flat then the earth is flat! if it is a matter of what it “seems” to be saying is indicative of the lack of knowledge of the person seeking understanding.
