I just seen a link on Charisma where Pastor Saeed, who has been in a Iranian prison for several years, was released. His wife, who has been crusading all over the country seeking prayer for his release, said he was abusive to her and is now praying for their healing. I wish I knew the Greek language. But to me that Scripture is easy understood except the last part , Rank and Captain. Altho I never thought of those two words. I knew enough enough to know Jesus was higher than the highest. He Lord of all. I look a lot of things up in materials I have. And foot notes in different Bibles and compare them. But I always take the one who gives Jesus more Honor. I didn’t go to college. Except once I started in taking computer and I thought it was to hard. Then I was going to take an income tax trade. I didn’t like it either. But my Husband finished that course. But I dropped out of it. He went to a Bible college when we h in Chicago Ill. I would loved going there. I had children. And couldn’t go. So I’ve got my Bible I’ve got Spirit filled. I think church of God put out. I’ve got Jimmy Swaggart study Bible Dakes , Thompson Chain, and Nave’sTopical Bible. Spirit Filled is put out by Nelson. That’s just the ones I use most because they have study references
He was one of my favorite professors as well and had a wonderful family. I loved to hear Dr. Arrington and Dr. Gause discuss areas of theological difference.

I sat with Dr. Arrington for three years of New Testament Greek, earning a Minor in that subject. He later would come to our church and preach from our pulpit. I also sat under Dr. Goss in my bachelor’s and master’s program. Great men, both.
I remember Dr Cross. But I don’t think I remember Dr Arrington. But Dr Cross was a great Preacher and leader.
