Next, physically a person with AIDS could serve until they were hospitalized.Folks in wheel chairs could also serve in many capacities, but, I have always believed in the USMC philosophy: YOu may be a Cook, paperpusher, or supply guy BUT basically you are sill an Infantryman, a rifleman.Any distraction that is not necessary, and is NOT NEEDED when you depend on the person next to you to ‘protect’ your flank.Taken from my VAST knowledge of the military.
