I have two funerals to do this week back to back. Please pray that I will be able to minister to these families in the way God would have me.One of these will be especially hard – – a member of our church turned only 50 years old in July has died from cancer________________Pastor Mike IPHC Pastor
I’ve been having pain in my right side and feeling bad for most of the last week. I went back to the dr. this morning and was sent for an ultrasound. I appreciate your prayers. I have done fairly well till now but I’ve had a pain in my upper back (referred pain from the gall bladder, I’m sure) since about 2pm today. My pastor had a revival service tonight elsewhere, and I taught at church tonight. But the pain hasn’t gone away and other than a few minutes, I don’t think I’ve slept tonight despite taking a mild muscle relaxer and half a pain pill. If it’s not better in the morning, I’m going to go to the ER. I want my hubby to get some rest as he exhausted himself today. If s worse, I’ll wake him.Would appreciate your continued prayer. I don’t know if this will speed up the surgery or not. Thanks for your prayers. I did go to the ER the next day but it did nothing to speed up the surgery process. Dr. said it was not infected or inflamed, so just to follow up with the surgeon. I have an appt with the surgeon in the morning (on Tuesday) and am hoping to get on his surgery schedule ASAP. Had to take a pain pill tonight but hopefully it won’t get any worse.Thanks again for your prayers! I went to the surgeon today, & my surgery is scheduled for August 14th. I’ve had pain & nausea today, so I came home & rested instead of going to work as I’d planned. Still hurting some but it’s not intense, just constant.Hoping this two weeks goes by quickly.
