  1. I never suspected you SDA! To answer the OP: No, that will never happen. As I just said about another comment, ‘Always the gentleman DS’ ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

  2. I certainly think the COG should modify or change some of it’s policies. I think, guidelines should be set up for states to have a binding vote on it’s leaders. There should be a sunshine rule of the fiscal church, top to bottom.I also think a period of time should be set to transfer ownership of church property to the local churches. There may be a lot of complications in the above, it might be impossibe, I do not know, someone smarter than I could surely phase them in.BUT then all of those have been discussed in depth here, methinks________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

  3. although you ALL ARE men/women of Faith, you could just transfer your credentials to a more accommodating Fellowship that has a better polity. I don’t know where you might find such a place although I once heard about a group that is based out of SW Missouri. Just sayin….

  4. Have you ever noticed when you speak to an independent church pastor he will tell you about the oversight group his church is under, and when you speak to a denominational pastor he will often say, well, I’m of them, but not with them?So the denominational churches are often busy hiding who they are behind different church names and buried links on their website, while independent churches often tout who their Apostolic oversight is. We may need more of one and less of the other. Or is it less of one and more of the other?

  5. Our government moves at an almost arthritic pace. Sometimes General Assembly is painful.Hmmmmm, may we should have. G.O. Make executive orders?(Just kidding) ________________

  6. But the independent who posts here (sheepdogandy) is very transparent with his congregation. He is more transparent with the church finances than you are.

  7. I am accountable to our Church Council and Church Conference of Stewards.I can be removed. Our finances are posted for any and all to view.Itemized and including every penny the Church gives me.I just checked our web site to find it is out of whack at the moment. When it is fixed it will contain our Church Constitution and By-laws for all of y’all to read and judge for yourself.Since 1989 I have been a rabid Congregationalist.I believe it’s the Biblical way to go.Before the accusations begin to fly, remember you all VOTE at General Assembly. ________________Charles A. 8. Be that as it may…it is the correct way to make change happen, is it not________________More of Him…less of me.twitter.com/camiracle77www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=691241499&ref=name

  9. OTCP!!!!!! I meant, I do not know who is gonna be the NEXT General Overseer, however I know who ain’t. Seems they would like to a have a DR. before the name or DD after it.And I ain’t seen no DR OTCP yet… Just sayin’. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
